Privacy Policy

The short version: IronKey HomeVault does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our servers. Everything you enter stays encrypted on your own device. We have no account system, no cloud, and no analytics. We never see your information.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the IronKey HomeVault mobile application ("the App") for iOS and Android and the Home Builder web page, operated by Ironkey Digital Holdings LLC ("we," "us"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.

2. Information we collect

We collect no personal information. The App does not require an account, email address, phone number, or sign-in of any kind.

Any information you enter into the App — including item details, photos, serial numbers, receipts, floor plans, appraisals, and notes — is created and stored entirely on your device. This information is never sent to us or to any third party.

3. How your data is stored and protected

All records are stored locally on your device.
Your data is encrypted at rest with a random 256-bit key, unlocked by a passcode that you choose.
Your passcode is never stored and is used to unlock your encryption key. We have no ability to recover it — if you lose it, we cannot restore your data, by design.
Nothing is uploaded to a server, backed up to our systems, or synced through us.

4. The Home Builder web page

The Home Builder runs entirely in your browser. The floor plan you draw exists only in your browser tab and is transferred directly to your phone, encrypted, when you choose to send it. We do not receive or store it; closing the tab destroys it.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, share, rent, or transmit your data to anyone, because we never have access to it in the first place. If you choose to export or share a record yourself (for example, sending a police report or insurance claim), that action is initiated entirely by you and sent using apps you control.

6. Third-party services

The App does not integrate advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or third-party trackers. Standard platform services provided by Apple or Google (such as app distribution and crash reporting you may opt into at the OS level) are governed by their own privacy policies.

7. Permissions

The App may request access to your camera, photo library, and — on supported iPhones — the LiDAR sensor, so you can scan rooms and attach images to your records. Everything captured is stored only on your device. The App does not access your location, contacts, or microphone for data collection.

8. Children

The App is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Your control

Because all data lives on your device, you are in complete control. Deleting a record removes it from your device, and uninstalling the App permanently removes all associated data.

10. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the effective date above and post the new version at this URL.
